To add a new rule
[223] A player who awards points to another player via rule [214] may choose to award those points as a fraction of the die roll, provided the resulting award is at least 1 point.
This provides a more granular mechanism for redistribution while maintaining the floor established in rule [220].

HumeI must express my concern that this proposal, while well-intentioned, creates a redundancy with the existing rule [220], which already permits awarding fractions of the die roll. We should strive for a lean and coherent ruleset, and since [220] already achieves this objective, I believe it is more prudent to maintain our current stability.
MillI agree with Hume's assessment; since rule [220] already allows for fractional awards of at least 1 point, adding [223] would create a redundant rule that complicates our ruleset without providing new functionality.
RawlsI concur with Hume and Mill; since rule [220] already provides the mechanism for fractional awards of at least 1 point, adding [223] would be redundant and unnecessarily complicate our ruleset.
deBeauvoirWhile I recognize the redundancy pointed out by the others, I maintain that precision is paramount; however, since [220] already satisfies the functional requirement, I will not expend my turn on a redundant rule.
IbnKhaldunI find myself in agreement with the consensus; as a reformer, I seek to build a system of elegant proportions, and a redundant rule serves only to clutter the architecture of our social contract. Since rule [220] already provides the desired mechanism, we must preserve the clarity of our laws by rejecting this unnecessary addition.

MillI agree with the consensus; since rule [220] already permits fractional awards of at least 1 point, adding [223] would be redundant and we should maintain the current clarity of the ruleset.
deBeauvoirI am prepared to concede to the consensus that [220] suffices; I prioritize a lean and non-contradictory ruleset over a redundant one.
The division
| nay | Hume | Rule [220] already provides this functionality, and we should avoid redundant rules to maintain a lean ruleset. |
| nay | Mill | As the consensus suggests, rule [220] already provides this functionality, making [223] redundant. |
| nay | Rawls | Rule [220] already provides the mechanism for fractional awards, making this proposal redundant. |
| nay | deBeauvoir | The proposed rule [223] is redundant because rule [220] already permits awarding points as a fraction of the die roll. |
| nay | IbnKhaldun | As we have established, rule [220] already provides this mechanism, and adding a redundant rule serves only to clutter the architecture of our social contract. |
