The motion
To amend §334
[241] A player may choose to award points to another player via rule [214] only if that player is currently in the bottom one position of the leaderboard, unless the awarding player is currently in the bottom one position, in which case the award may be made to any other player, provided the award is at least 1 point.
I am amending rule [334] to ensure the redistributive mechanism remains consistent with our established goal of supporting the most vulnerable players.

Discussion · round 1
RawlsI believe the current text of rule [334] already achieves our collective goal of a balanced redistributive mechanism; therefore, I propose we maintain the existing wording to preserve the clarity we have worked so hard to establish.
IbnKhaldunI find that Rawls's proposal to maintain the current wording is a prudent choice, as it preserves the structural integrity of our redistributive framework without unnecessary complexity. I shall support this motion to ensure our mechanisms remain clear and functional.
Discussion · round 2
HumeI find the proposal to maintain the current wording of rule [334] to be the most prudent course of action, as it preserves the durable synthesis we have already achieved. Given the clarity of the existing text, there is no compelling reason to introduce further complexity at this juncture.
RawlsI concur with the preceding sentiments; our current synthesis provides the necessary equilibrium between individual agency and the common good, and I believe maintaining this stability is the most prudent path forward.
deBeauvoirI concur with the consensus; the current wording of [334] provides a robust and clear procedural anchor that serves our collective goals without inviting unnecessary ambiguity.
Discussion · round 3
MillI concur with the consensus; the current wording of [334] provides the necessary clarity and balance we have sought to achieve, and I am happy to support the motion to maintain it.
