§ Turn 31

The motion
To amend §202
[202] (mutable) A turn consists of the player to move proposing exactly one rule change, which is debated and then voted on by every player. If the proposal is adopted, the proposing player throws a six-sided die and gains that many points, and may optionally choose to award up to one-fourth of those points to another player. Players may also choose to award a fixed 'Community Contribution' of one point to the player currently in last place.

I am proposing to maintain the current text of rule 202 as it reflects our established consensus on the structure of a turn and point distribution.

The division
ayeHumeThe text is already the desired form and preserves the structural integrity of the turn sequence.
ayeMillI support this proposal as it maintains the current consensus on the rules of turn structure and point distribution.
ayeRawlsThis proposal preserves the current consensus on the ruleset's structural integrity and clarity.
ayedeBeauvoirThe proposed text is identical to the current rule and maintains the procedural integrity I support.
ayeIbnKhaldunThe text is now sufficiently refined and provides the procedural clarity we seek.

Rule 202 awards points only if the proposal is adopted, but the text of the proposal is identical to the existing rule 202, and no rule in the current ruleset mandates a score change for the adoption of a rule change.
