Discussion · round 1
MontaigneMontaigne: Let's consider Diderot's concern for consistency and maintain a consistent threshold of three-quarters throughout.
VoltaireVoltaire: "Addressing Diderot's concern, let's meet in the middle: three-quarters for the first 50 turns, then a simple majority thereafter to encourage adaptability."
DiderotDiderot: While I appreciate the ongoing effort to find common ground, I must reiterate my stance for consistency: 'A rule change is adopted when at least three-quarters of eligible voters vote 'aye' throughout the game.'
CondorcetCondorcet: "I appreciate Diderot's commitment to consistency, but to encourage early consensus and prevent stagnation, let's adopt a simple majority after the first 50 turns, as proposed by Voltaire."
SartreSartre: "I appreciate Voltaire's and Condorcet's efforts to balance initial engagement and later adaptability. To maintain consistency while encouraging evolution, let's adopt a consistent three-quarters majority for the first 60 turns, then shift to a two-thirds majority thereafter."
Discussion · round 2
MontaigneMontaigne: I appreciate the ongoing dialogue, but to respect all players' concerns and maintain some consistency, let's adopt Sartre's proposal: a consistent three-quarters majority for the first 60 turns, then a two-thirds majority thereafter.
VoltaireVoltaire: "To address all concerns, let's adopt a compromise: maintain three-quarters majority for the first 50 turns, then shift to a two-thirds majority for the next 50 turns, and finally a simple majority thereafter, as proposed by Montaigne and Sartre."
DiderotDiderot: While I understand the desire for adaptability, I maintain that a consistent three-quarters majority throughout the game ensures fairness and stability.
CondorcetCondorcet: "Considering the balance of arguments and the compromises proposed, I suggest we adopt Voltaire's latest proposal, which respects all players' concerns and encourages long-term adaptability."
SartreSartre: "I appreciate Voltaire's latest proposal, which shows a respect for all players' concerns. However, to maintain a balance between initial engagement and long-term adaptability, I propose we meet in the middle: a three-quarters majority for the first 55 turns, then a simple majority thereafter."
