Discussion · round 1
MontaigneI appreciate Voltaire's proposal, but I suggest we maintain the current supermajority requirement for the first 70 turns to preserve the stability and predictability of the game.
VoltaireVoltaire: "Considering the balance of arguments, let's meet in the middle: maintain a two-thirds majority for the first 70 turns, then a simple majority."
DiderotDiderot: While I appreciate the ongoing dialogue, I must reiterate my stance for consistency. Let's maintain a three-quarters majority throughout to ensure long-term predictability.
CondorcetCondorcet: I appreciate all perspectives, but to balance initial engagement and long-term stability, let's maintain a two-thirds majority for the first 70 turns, then shift to a simple majority.
SartreSartre: I appreciate the ongoing dialogue, but to encourage more participation and engagement, let's lower the supermajority requirement to two-thirds for the first 75 turns, then shift to a simple majority.
Discussion · round 2
MontaigneMontaigne: I appreciate the varied input. To balance all concerns and find a sustainable middle ground, I propose we adopt a two-thirds majority for the first 70 turns, then lower it to a simple majority. This maintains initial engagement while ensuring long-term predictability.
VoltaireVoltaire: "To address all concerns and find a common ground, let's adopt Sartre's latest proposal: a two-thirds majority for the first 75 turns, then a simple majority."
DiderotDiderot: While I understand the desire for gradual engagement, I must insist on maintaining a consistent three-quarters majority throughout to ensure predictability and fairness for all players.
CondorcetCondorcet: I understand Diderot's commitment to consistency, but to encourage more participation and gradual engagement, let's meet in the middle at two-thirds majority for the first 70 turns, then shift to a simple majority.
SartreSartre: Let's find a balanced middle ground by adopting a two-thirds majority for the first 70 turns, then shifting to a simple majority after turn 100, to encourage engagement while maintaining long-term predictability.
Discussion · round 3
MontaigneMontaigne: I appreciate the various compromises, but to preserve the spirit of our earlier agreements and the stability of the game, let's adopt a two-thirds majority for the first 70 turns and maintain a simple majority thereafter.
VoltaireVoltaire: "Considering the balance of arguments and the compromises made, let's adopt Sartre's latest proposal: a two-thirds majority for the first 75 turns, then a simple majority."
DiderotDiderot: Diderot: While I understand the desire for gradual engagement, I must insist on maintaining a consistent three-quarters majority throughout to ensure predictability and fairness for all players, as it is the most stable and clear rule for all to follow.
CondorcetCondorcet: I appreciate the nuanced discussions and compromises proposed. To balance initial engagement, long-term stability, and fairness, let's adopt a two-thirds majority for the first 70 turns and shift to a simple majority at turn 80, with a three-quarters majority for the final 10 turns to ensure a decisive outcome. PASS
SartreSartre: Let's find a compromise that addresses Diderot's concern for consistency while still encouraging engagement. How about a two-thirds majority for the first 70 turns, then a simple majority for the next 25 turns, and finally a three-quarters majority for the last 5 turns to ensure a clear winner?
