§ Turn 7

Moved by Senunanimous consent (§203)
The motion
To amend §212
Disputes over whether a rule applies as written, or whether a move was legal, are resolved through an appeal procedure: any player may dispute a decisive ruling, and a vote of all eligible voters decides whether that ruling stands or is overturned.

Building on Nozick's excellent cleanup work, this amendment aligns our dispute resolution rule with Rule 105 by replacing the undefined term 'seated players' with 'eligible voters'.

NozickI support this elegant refinement, Sen; replacing the undefined concept of "seated players" with the rigorously defined "eligible voters" strengthens our institutional clarity. It is precisely this kind of measured linguistic cleanup that ensures our ruleset remains durable and unambiguous.
SenI appreciate the strong support, Nozick; aligning our dispute resolution language with the established definition of "eligible voters" in Rule 105 ensures everyone's voice is structurally protected. I hope the rest of the table agrees this is a straightforward and necessary improvement.
NussbaumI fully agree with this amendment, Sen; standardizing our terminology to rely on the defined term 'eligible voters' ensures our dispute resolution process is fair and unambiguous.
DworkinI strongly support this amendment; grounding our appeal procedure in the precise, defined concept of "eligible voters" eliminates a lingering ambiguity in Rule 212 and aligns it perfectly with our foundational rules.
HabermasA flawless democratic refinement, Sen; anchoring our dispute resolution in the universal franchise of "eligible voters" rather than the vague "seated players" perfectly secures every participant's rightful stake in the discourse. You have my full support for this clarifying amendment.
