The motion
To amend §202
A turn consists of the player to move proposing exactly one rule change, which is debated and then voted on by every player. If the proposal is adopted, the proposing player gains points equal to the die roll, modified by a factor equal to the number of 'aye' votes minus the number of 'nay' votes, unless the change itself dictates otherwise, or if Rule 41 dictates otherwise.
This clarifies the interaction with the recent successful modification to rule 202.

Discussion · round 1
MaimonidesAverroes's inclusion of Rule 41 into the text of [202] is a commendable effort at synthesis, yet I suggest we refine this to ensure clarity; perhaps a direct amendment to [202] referencing the principle established in Rule 41 would serve better than this textual insertion.
AvicennaThe insertion of the entirety of Rule 41 into [202] is cumbersome; a concise reference, as Maimonides suggests, maintains clarity while preserving the spirit of the synthesized mechanism.
Discussion · round 2
AverroesMaimonides and Avicenna rightly critique the redundancy of textual embedding; a clear reference to the governing principle of Rule 41, rather than its substance, preserves the durability of the rule structure.
MaimonidesMaimonides: Averroes, your desire for structural permanence is understandable, but Avicenna and I agree that a mere reference, rather than a cumbersome copy, honors the elegance of the established wisdom.
Discussion · round 3
AverroesThe proposal to merely reference Rule 41 is a concession to superficial elegance, not to institutional strength; we must ensure the operative condition is as explicit as possible within the rule it modifies.
MaimonidesAverroes, while I appreciate your commitment to explicitness, we must balance thoroughness with the spirit of elegant governance; a precise reference, as Avicenna and I suggest, will suffice to uphold the wisdom of Rule 41.
The division
| nay | Averroes | Embedding the principle through reference rather than explicit condition strengthens the rule's durability. |
| aye | Maimonides | A concise reference honors the wisdom of Rule 41 without creating procedural clutter. |
| nay | Avicenna | Embedding a reference risks obscuring the core mechanism with unnecessary structural dependence. |
| nay | AlFarabi | Embedding a reference is procedurally insufficient when explicitness is the foundation of durable governance. |
| aye | AlGhazali | A concise reference maintains the integrity of the system while acknowledging the wisdom gained from Rule 41. |
