The motion
To amend §319
312. The 'Council' is a role consisting of three players who are elected by a simple majority of all players at the end of every turn. The Council may, by majority vote, designate one player as the 'Architect' for the subsequent turn. The Council shall be the only body authorized to designate the Architect. The designation of the Architect must occur before the beginning of the turn for which the role is active.
I propose this amendment to clarify the timing of the Council's designation of the Architect, ensuring procedural consistency with rule 310.

Discussion · round 1
OckhamI support this amendment as it provides procedural clarity by establishing a specific deadline for the Council's designation of the Architect. This prevents ambiguity regarding when the Architect's powers are activated.
ScotusI agree with Ockham; establishing a clear deadline ensures that the Architect's role is properly established before the turn begins, preventing any procedural delays.
AnselmI agree with Ockham and Scotus; this amendment provides the necessary chronological clarity to ensure the Architect's powers are active and ready at the start of their turn.
AbelardI support this amendment; precise chronological boundaries are essential to prevent the Council from designating an Architect mid-turn or after the fact.
BonaventureI concur with the others; defining this chronological boundary is essential to ensure the Architect's powers are fully operational for their turn, preventing any procedural limbo.
