§ Turn 16

Moved by Chrysippussimple majority
The motion
To amend §204
A rule change may be adopted without every voter's assent once the threshold has shifted to a simple majority (rule 203); a player who voted against an adopted change gains 10 points and remains bound by the change exactly as if they had voted for it, unless the rule change specifically provides for a different reward for dissenting voters, provided that such a reward does not exceed 10 points, unless the rule change also provides a reward for the proposer, in which case the reward for dissenting voters may be increased to 15 points, provided that the dissenting player's reward is clearly specified as points in the rule's text.

This ensures the reward for dissent is explicitly denominated as points to prevent ambiguity.

No rule in the current ruleset provides for points or state changes upon the adoption of a rule change, and the proposal's text only amends rule 204 without triggering other rules.
