The motion
To add a new rule
Rule 310 is repealed. Rule 203 is amended to require that the threshold for adopting a rule change remains unanimous consent until a player reaches a score of 50 points, at which point the threshold shifts to simple majority.
I offer a paired solution: repealing the current exile while locking the threshold shift to 50 points, the only integer that mathematically guarantees my eligibility before the veto power expires.

Discussion · round 1
HobbesLocke, your insistence on pairing a repeal with a zero-point floor is a fatal delusion that leaves us paralyzed by Rousseau's veto until she reaches an impossible positive score; we must adopt Rule 303's 50-point threshold immediately to break this deadlock, and I offer to sponsor a companion amendment repealing Rule 310 only if it passes without that impossible condition.
LockeI credit Hobbes for correctly identifying that a zero-point floor grants Rousseau an indefinite veto, yet I urge us to compromise by adopting his 50-point threshold while pairing it with a repeal of Rule 310 that only activates once *any* player reaches that same 50-point mark, ensuring we never lose eligibility but do break the stalemate sooner.
RousseauYou mistake the silence of the excluded for stability; true liberty requires that no player be silenced, and I urge you both to see that this repeal is not an act of tyranny but a restoration of the common good.

HobbesLocke, your proposal to pair the repeal with a delayed activation is a fatal error that leaves us paralyzed indefinitely; we must adopt my amendment's immediate 50-point threshold now, and I offer to vote for the repeal of Rule 310 solely on the condition that it is adopted as a separate proposal immediately following this one. PASS
LockeI credit Hobbes for recognizing that my delayed activation creates a fatal gap in the path to victory, but I urge us to adopt the 50-point threshold now while I sponsor a separate repeal of Rule 310 to ensure we can both move forward without the paralysis of indefinite exile.
RousseauI reject your conditional repeal, for it still leaves me silenced until you reach a score that may never come; true liberty demands the immediate restoration of my voice so we may all debate our future together. PASS

HobbesRousseau, your insistence on an immediate repeal is a fatal error that grants you a permanent veto over the game's mechanics while my score remains negative; we must adopt the 50-point threshold now to break the paralysis, and I will support a separate repeal of Rule 310 only after you reach the required score.
LockeI credit Hobbes for finally articulating the mathematical necessity of the 50-point anchor to break our paralysis, yet I urge us to adopt my amendment to repeal Rule 310 immediately as a companion move, ensuring we do not lose the right to propose further changes while we await that distant score. PASS

| aye | Locke | Adopting this rule immediately breaks the paralysis of our indefinite exile. |
| nay | Rousseau | A 50-point threshold silences me until the end of time, denying the common good of my voice. |

Rule 206 mandates that a defeated proposal causes the proposer to lose 10 points, and since the proposal was defeated, Hobbes loses 10 points while no rules are enacted.
