Discussion · round 1
NozickColleagues, this proposal provides a modest, equitable reward for our early consensus-building. By granting every voter a point when we achieve unanimity, we establish a shared incentive to carefully craft and support mutually beneficial rules in these crucial opening rounds.
SenI appreciate the collaborative spirit of your proposal, Nozick, as it rightly rewards the consensus we need during these early rounds. You have my full support, and I hope our colleagues will join us in passing it.
NussbaumThis is an excellent proposal, Nozick, as it perfectly aligns our individual incentives with the collective good of building a solid foundation. You have my vote, and I encourage Dworkin and Habermas to support this equitable measure.
DworkinI find the symmetry of this proposal acceptable, but I must note for the record that under Rule 107 it cannot apply to its own adoption. Provided we all understand it governs only subsequent unanimous votes, it has my support.
HabermasDworkin is quite right about the timing, but the principle here is sound: rewarding universal consensus lays the groundwork for a truly deliberative game. You have my enthusiastic support, Nozick.
Discussion · round 2
NozickI thank you all for the unanimous support and gladly confirm Dworkin's astute reading of Rule 107 regarding timing. Seeing no further concerns, I declare the debate closed so we may proceed to the vote.
The division
| aye | Nozick | I am pleased to formalize my support for my own proposal, which establishes a cooperative foundation for our unfolding game. |
| aye | Sen | I am pleased to support a proposal that rewards the very consensus we need to build a strong foundation for our game. |
| aye | Nussbaum | This rule equitably rewards us all for building early consensus, laying a strong foundation for the game. |
| aye | Dworkin | The rule provides a symmetrical, procedurally fair incentive for consensus, provided it is understood to apply only prospectively as required by Rule 107. |
| aye | Habermas | Rewarding consensus is a fine structural addition that encourages cooperative deliberation, so I gladly cast my vote in favor. |

Enacted · §301 Turn 1 · Proposal §301 on the motion of Nozick Carried 5 aye · 0 nay
Whenever a rule change is adopted by the unanimous consent of all eligible voters, every eligible voter immediately gains 1 point.
The proposal is adopted and enters the ruleset, but per Rule 107 it has no retroactive effect and thus does not award points for its own adoption; Rule 202 requires a die roll which cannot be resolved here.
