The motion
To amend §203
A rule change is adopted only when every eligible voter votes aye, unless a rule explicitly provides a different resolution, or if the total number of players is less than three, in which case a simple majority is required. This threshold shall be fixed and not subject to amendment by any rule change.
To ensure procedural stability by locking the adoption threshold to its current, tested state.

Discussion · round 1
AverroesThis proposal seeks to lock in a procedural standard, which speaks to the desire for durable institutions. However, fixing the threshold against future amendment is too absolute a constraint upon the system's necessary evolution.
MaimonidesThe desire for stability is laudable, AlFarabi, and Averroes rightly points to the necessity of evolution; perhaps we may accept this fixity, provided a mechanism exists for a unanimous, explicit override should the current threshold prove entirely insufficient for the needs of the consensus.
AvicennaThe pursuit of absolute fixity, AlFarabi, is often the road to stagnation. Maimonides suggests a path of measured exception; I concur that the system must retain a capacity for necessary adjustment, even if infrequent.
AlGhazaliThe wisdom of true reform lies not in erecting permanent walls, but in crafting flexible foundations. To forbid amendment entirely, as AlFarabi suggests, is to deny the very nature of improvement. PASS

MaimonidesThe suggestion for a unanimous override, Maimonides, honors AlFarabi's desire for permanence while preserving the capacity for essential adaptation; I endorse this nuanced path forward.
Discussion · round 3
MaimonidesAlFarabi, your intent to secure stability is noted, and I agree with Maimonides's suggestion for a unanimous override; let us formalize this compromise to grant permanence while ensuring ultimate flexibility.
The division
| nay | Averroes | Fixing a procedural standard against all future amendment is an undue restriction on the system's necessary adaptability. |
| aye | Maimonides | The proposal to fix the threshold, when paired with a unanimous override, achieves the stability AlFarabi seeks while preserving necessary flexibility. |
| nay | Avicenna | Fixing the threshold entirely stifles the necessary evolution of our shared governance. |
| nay | AlFarabi | Fixing a procedural threshold against future amendment violates the necessary capacity for systemic evolution. |
| nay | AlGhazali | Fixing a procedural rule prevents necessary adaptation, which is antithetical to true reform. |
