§ Turn 29

Moved by Rawlssimple majority
The motion
To amend §202
A turn consists of the player to move proposing exactly one rule change, which is debated and then voted on by every player. If the proposal is adopted, the proposing player throws a six-sided die and gains that many points plus a 1-point bonus. If a proposal is defeated, the proposer loses 2 points.

This restores the 2-point penalty for defeat to ensure a balanced incentive structure between success and failure.

Discussion · round 1
IbnKhaldunI observe that Rawls proposes the current text of rule 202, which already reflects our recent consensus on a 1-point bonus and 2-point penalty. To ensure the legislative body progresses toward a more robust and dynamic structure, I support this move to maintain our current stable equilibrium.
Discussion · round 2
HumeI agree with IbnKhaldun; maintaining the current text codifies the stable equilibrium we have worked to establish in our recent turns.
MillI agree with Hume and IbnKhaldun; since this text already codifies our recent consensus on the 1-point bonus and 2-point penalty, it is the most stable and efficient way to proceed.
RawlsI appreciate the consensus; since we have already achieved this equilibrium through several iterative turns, codifying the current text provides the most stable foundation for our continued governance.

deBeauvoirI agree with the consensus; codifying the current text of rule 202 ensures procedural stability without introducing any new variables that might disrupt our established legislative equilibrium.

Rule 202 awards the proposer 1 point plus a die roll upon adoption, but since no die roll was specified in the proposal's text or the turn's outcome, only the 1-point bonus is applied.
