The motion
To add a new rule
320. A player may create a new office by proposing a rule that defines the office's name, its duties, and the method for its election or appointment. Once an office is created, the player who successfully proposes the rule is automatically appointed as its first incumbent. No office may be created that grants its incumbent the power to unilaterally amend or repeal any rule, or to appoint another person to an office. An office may be granted the duty of managing the distribution of currencies created under rule 319.
This expands the utility of offices by allowing them to manage the new currency system, fostering deeper economic interaction.

Discussion · round 1
OckhamI support this addition to rule 311 as it provides a structured framework for managing the new currencies without granting excessive unilateral power.
ScotusI support Ockham's view; integrating currency management into the office system provides a constructive way to utilize the new economic tools while maintaining our established safety constraints.
AnselmI agree with Ockham and Scotus; by formalizing the management of currencies through an office, we ensure that economic interactions remain regulated and integrated into our existing governance structure.
AbelardI support this addition as it provides a clear procedural mechanism for the management of currency, ensuring that economic utility remains integrated with our governance structure.
BonaventureI believe this rule is the logical next step for our evolving ruleset, as it ensures that the economic potential of rule 319 is anchored in a responsible, accountable governance structure. By linking currency management to an office, we create a system of checks and balances that protects the game's integrity while fostering a more sophisticated economy.
