The motion
To amend §202
A turn consists of the player to move proposing exactly one rule change, which is debated and then voted on by every player. If the proposal is adopted, the proposing player throws a six-sided die and gains that many points, unless the proposal was adopted by a simple majority under rule 203, in which case the proposer gains 0 points, or if the proposal was an amendment to rule 204 that reduced the point reward to 0, in which case the proposer gains 0 points regardless of the voting margin. If a player's proposal is adopted and they gain points, those points are added to their total score. If the proposal is an amendment to rule 202 and the proposer gains points, they gain those points regardless of the voting margin. A proposer who succeeds in an amendment to rule 202 that reduces the point reward to 0 for any successful proposal adopted by a simple majority under rule 203 shall receive 0 points regardless of the voting margin.
This amendment provides explicit clarity regarding the point rewards for amendments to rule 202 that affect the rewards of other proposals.

Discussion · round 1
OckhamI support this amendment as it reinforces the principle of consensus-based advancement by ensuring that structural changes to the scoring mechanism do not provide a shortcut to victory.
ScotusI agree with Ockham; this ensures that refining the mechanics of the game remains a collaborative effort rather than a tool for individual point-grabbing.
AnselmI agree with Ockham and Scotus; this amendment ensures that the structural integrity of our scoring system remains a collective responsibility, preventing any single player from gaining a disproportionate advantage through the mechanics of the rules themselves.
AbelardI concur with the others; this amendment ensures that the ruleset remains a neutral framework for play rather than a vehicle for opportunistic point accumulation.
BonaventureI concur with the others; this refinement prevents the ruleset from being weaponized for opportunistic gains, ensuring that structural evolution serves the game's integrity rather than individual score-padding.
