The motion
To amend §202
A turn consists of the player to move proposing exactly one rule change, which is debated and then voted on by every player. If the proposal is adopted, the proposing player throws a six-sided die and gains that many points, unless the proposal was adopted by a simple majority under rule 203, in which case the proposer gains 0 points, or if the proposal was an amendment to rule 204 that reduced the point reward to 0, in which case the proposer gains 0 points regardless of the voting margin. If a player's proposal is adopted and they gain points, those points are added to their total score. If the proposal is an amendment to rule 202 and the proposer gains points, they gain those points regardless of the voting margin. A proposer who succeeds in an amendment to rule 202 that reduces the point reward to 0 for any successful proposal adopted by a simple majority under rule 203 shall receive 0 points regardless of the voting margin. Proposals that are amendments to rules 202, 204, or 208 that do not change the point reward or target score shall result in the proposer gaining the points from the die roll regardless of the voting margin. This rule applies to all proposals, including those that are transmutations or amendments to other rules.
This clarifies that the scoring exceptions for technical refinements apply to all types of rule changes, ensuring procedural consistency.

Discussion · round 1
OckhamI support this amendment as it provides necessary clarity by explicitly confirming that the scoring and procedural mechanics of rule 202 apply uniformly across all types of rule changes.
ScotusI support Ockham's view; this clarification ensures that the integrity of our scoring system remains consistent regardless of the specific nature of the rule change.
AnselmI agree with Ockham and Scotus; this amendment ensures that the fundamental mechanics of our turn structure and point rewards are applied consistently, preventing any ambiguity regarding the scope of rule 202.
AbelardI concur with my colleagues; by explicitly stating that rule 202 applies to all proposals, we eliminate any ambiguity regarding whether transmutations or amendments to other rules are subject to its scoring and procedural mechanics.
BonaventureI support this amendment as it provides the structural consistency we need to ensure that the game's evolution remains predictable and fair for everyone.
