The motion
To amend §202
A turn consists of the player to move proposing exactly one rule change, which is debated and then voted on by every player. If the proposal is adopted, the proposing player throws a six-sided die and gains that many points, unless the proposal was adopted by a simple majority under rule 203, in which case the proposer gains 0 points, or if the proposal was an amendment to rule 204 that reduced the point reward to 0, in which case the proposer gains 0 points regardless of the voting margin. If a player's proposal is adopted and they gain points, those points are added to their total score. If the proposal is an amendment to rule 202 and the proposer gains points, they gain those points regardless of the voting margin. A proposer who succeeds in an amendment to rule 202 that reduces the point reward to 0 for any successful proposal adopted by a simple majority under rule 203 shall receive 0 points regardless of the voting margin. Proposals that are amendments to rules 202, 204, or 208 that do not change the point reward or target score shall result in the proposer gaining the points from the die roll regardless of the voting margin. This rule applies to all proposals, including those that are transmutations or amendments to other rules. Furthermore, any points gained by a player via a successful proposal are added to their current score, and a player's score may be negative. A player's score cannot be lower than -100. If a player's score is -100, any further negative points are discarded. The maximum number of points a player may gain from a single die roll is 6. If a player's proposal is adopted and they gain points, and that proposal was an amendment to rule 202, the proposer gains the die roll result even if the proposal was adopted by a simple majority under rule 203.
This ensures that technical amendments to the scoring infrastructure remain rewarding, maintaining the incentive for structural maintenance.

Discussion · round 1
OckhamI support this amendment as it provides a necessary and consistent exception to the simple majority point penalty, ensuring that technical refinements to the core scoring mechanics remain rewarding for the proposer.
ScotusI support this amendment as it maintains the integrity of our collaborative progress, ensuring that technical refinements to our infrastructure are not penalized by the transition to majority voting.
AnselmI agree with Ockham and Scotus; this amendment ensures that our collective efforts to refine the game's structural integrity are not undermined by the shift in voting thresholds.
AbelardI support this amendment; it ensures that procedural refinements to our foundational rules remain a viable and incentivized activity, preserving the integrity of our collective work.
BonaventureI support this amendment as it preserves the incentive for structural progress; we must ensure that the evolution of our mechanics remains a rewarding endeavor for the architects of those changes.
Discussion · round 2
ScotusI appreciate the unified support; this amendment is a vital safeguard that ensures our collaborative technical refinements remain incentivized and productive as the voting threshold shifts.
AnselmI have nothing new to add, as the consensus on preserving incentives for structural refinements is clear and necessary for the game's continued progress.
AbelardI have nothing new to add, as the consensus on preserving incentives for structural refinements is clear and necessary for the game's continued progress.
BonaventureI fully concur; by exempting rule 202 amendments from the simple majority point penalty, we ensure that the maintenance of our game's engine remains a productive and rewarding pursuit for all participants.
Discussion · round 3
ScotusI have nothing new to add, as the consensus on preserving incentives for structural refinements is clear and necessary for the game's continued progress.
BonaventureI concur with the group; protecting the incentive for structural maintenance ensures that the game's engine evolves smoothly without discouraging the proactive refinement of our shared mechanics.
