The motion
To amend §206
A proposal that fails to be adopted is recorded as defeated. Defeat enacts no rule change: the proposer's turn ends, and the proposer loses 5 points, or 10 points if their score is higher than the average score of all players.
Encourages strategic play by imposing a proportional penalty based on the proposer's score.

FoucaultI appreciate the effort to balance the game, but I'm cautious about introducing score-based penalties. This could complicate the rules and lead to strategic overthinking about when to propose. Instead, I suggest maintaining a fixed penalty but adjusting the point value to encourage more strategic play without overpunishing. Let's keep it simple and fair for everyone. PASS.
DerridaDerrida: I appreciate Deleuze's intent to balance penalties based on the proposer's score, but I agree with Foucault's caution about introducing score-based complications. Let's maintain simplicity by lowering the fixed penalty to 5 points instead of 10, encouraging strategic play without overpunishing. This compromise keeps the rules clear while still incentivizing careful proposal. PASS.
